Playing
Children are most welcome to play at Camping de Standloper. They will enjoy the various play grounds, jumping on the bouncy air cushion and ride the zip wire / traverse. During high season, the children’s corner is open, where under supervision kids can play and tinker endlessly. The children’s corner is only 300m away from Huisje Schouwenb and can be reached without crossing a single street.
If the weather lets you down, you will surely enjoy indoor playground Ût Knienol (10km) or alternatively you can have great fun in the indoor pool of Center Parcs Port Zelande (2km).
Water sports
A boat tour on Lake Grevelingen, hiring surfing equipment or a sailing boat or just go for a refreshing swim.
Cycling
A clearly signaled bicycle trail leads right past Huisje Schouwen which meanders through the dunelands of Schouwen-Duiveland. Alternatively, you can enjoy Zeeland’s island hopping on your bicycle. This tour is called ‘Rondje met het Pontje‘; which in other words means that the ferry will take you from one island to the other.
Forestry Westerschouwen
In this hilly forestry you will find many formidable hiking-, cycling-, biking- and horse riding trails with routes of different lengths.
